How Does Cayman's Process Start ?

In order to Officially Start – Cayman needs a Signed Contract or Letter of Intent ( LOI ) approving the Scope of work and Estimated Value. Once released, we will get you set up in our system and assign a Project Manager ( PM ) who will coordinate every process from start to finish.

How Long Do Shop Drawings Take ?

Depending on the size and schedule of the Project, Shop Drawings ( SDs ) typically take 2 – 4 weeks after the Estimating Hand-Off Meeting. Cayman will always request CAD Files & Equipment Specifications which can help expedite the process as well as increase accuracy on our first submittal.

What Documents Are Required For Production/Manufacturing ?

In order to start the Production/Manufacturing process, Cayman will need a final set of Approved Shop Drawings, All Equipment Specifications, Approved Finish Samples and Hardware as well as accurate Field Dimensions. The goal is always to align the Customer’s Design Requirements with the Job Site Conditions.

How Long Does Production/Manufacturing Take ?

Depending on the size of the Project, Production/Manufacturing will take approximately 4 – 6 weeks from the time Engineering releases all Cut-Lists. If the Project consists of Highly Detailed Custom Units with Exotic Materials, the fabrication time line will need to be reviewed and adjusted on a per job basis.

What’s Required To Schedule Delivery ?

Jobsite Readiness, Accessibilities, and Climate Control are the Main Requirements Necessary before Scheduling Delivery. We can always discuss these conditions, however Manufacturer Warranties may be affected if we Deviate from Industry Standards.

How Long Does Installation Take ?

Once all Materials are Delivered, Cayman will typically allow 2 to 3 days for all products to Acclimate to the Jobsite Conditions. Again, depending on the size of the Project, Installation can take a single day or continue for months. Our Team will always review the TCO / Completion Schedule and adjust in order to Deliver Product On Time!
